The Operative Group is led by Daniel Gandee, real estate investor, operator, and President of the Lane Rental Owners Association (ROA), representing and advocating for housing providers across Oregon. He holds a bachelor's degree from Kent State University in Advertising, and is a Certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Certified Real Estate Marketer (CREM), Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES), Investment Property Specialist (IPS), and holds a Real Estate Investing Certification from RRC.

With over 10 plus years of experience spanning Design and Build Construction, a Real Estate Marketing Agency, brokerage operations, real estate technology, and personal investments, Daniel brings a rare full spectrum perspective to every transaction. He understands how properties are built, how they are marketed, how they perform as investments, and how to structure deals that create long term value. This depth of experience allows our team to see opportunities and risks that others miss.
